“Big City Life,” dimensions 24cm x 30cm, acrylic paints on canvas. The painting has been varnished to protect it from fading and minor stains. However, it’s worth caring for it with care. It’s best to avoid exposure to direct sunlight and moisture, and clean it only with a dry, soft cloth or brush. Avoid wiping with water or detergents, and avoid touching the paint directly with your fingers to avoid damaging the surface.

Each painting is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail. I do not accept returns due to change of mind, but if the piece arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days of receiving the shipment and we will work out a solution.
Against the background of a stylized panorama of a big city, a woman sits in a tired and withdrawn pose – wearing the wings and halo of an angel, which, however, are clearly artificial. Her body is depicted in cool, black and white tones, contrasting with the warm, geometric background of the city.
The painting shows the false lightness of life in the metropolis. The woman becomes a symbol of those who try to play the role assigned to them – to be an “angel”, polite, smiling, innocent – even though internally they feel burnt out and lonely. It is a visual metaphor for pretending and the fatigue that comes with the fast pace of life and the pressure of social expectations.
