Artwork Care

The painting has been varnished to protect it from fading and minor stains. However, it’s worth caring for it with care. It’s best to avoid exposure to direct sunlight and moisture, and clean it only with a dry, soft cloth or brush. Avoid rubbing it with water or detergents, and avoid touching the paint directly with your fingers to avoid damaging the surface.

Description

Jacek Gać, known by his stage name Siexa, is captured in one of those moments where the tension before a fight becomes almost palpable. The artist chose to depict him in intense close-up, with a focused gaze, where every detail of his muscular, tattooed body becomes a story in itself. The image clearly accentuates his silhouette, highlighting the contrast between his inner concentration and the outward expression of his body—a manifestation of identity.

The background, full of cool purples and greens, intersected by neon light and the geometric audience, emphasizes the atmosphere of the gala evening—the artificiality of the light juxtaposed with the organic truth of a man in a cage. Siexa appears here almost like a cybernetic gladiator—a physical, modern warrior, yet rooted in emotion and his own history. From the artist’s perspective:

“When I painted Jacek, I knew his body had to speak. Not just his facial expressions, not just his posture—but those tattoos, the scars, the muscle tension. He’s not just a fighter. He’s someone who wears his path on his skin. I wanted to show him not as an aggressor, but as someone who is absolutely self-aware. Painting this image, I felt like he wasn’t faking anything. He’s real to the core.”
